Maurice’s story is one of hard work and perseverance. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from North Carolina A&T in 2002. Originally signing with the Chicago Bears, he had two outstanding seasons with the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe (2003, 2004) before signing with the San Francisco 49ers at the end of 2003.
